Nedlands Primary School has engaged a new lunch supplier to provide lunches on Mondays - Fridays. The priorities for selecting our provider included fresh and healthy food together with stability and reliability in fulfilling lunch orders.
Locavora meets the required Council and Department of Health regulations to supply lunch orders to our school community. They have an established commercial kitchen that has demonstrated safety for food allergies and intolerances.
Getting set up and placing an order:
STEP 1 - REGISTER
First register your family by going to https://schools.locavora.com.au/

You will need to enter your preferred email address and your chosen password.
STEP 2 - MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNT
You can now manage your account.

set your profile with your name and email.

Add each of your children and select their classroom from the list of drop down options titled 'Location'.
STEP 3 - PLACING AN ORDER

In the menu on the left click 'Lunch Orders'.

You will now see any current orders you have placed.

To place a new lunch order click the green button at the top titled + New Lunch Order.

Select the child you wish to place and order for and the date you require the order for and click 'Next'

A variety of categories of food and drink will be displayed. Click on each to expand to see all the options and click 'Add' on the items you want to order.

At the bottom of the page you can click 'Preview Order' to see the total order and cost, you MUST then click 'Add to Cart' to finalise and pay for your order.
PAYMENT
Please note there is a credit card surcharge.
Parents can opt to pay as you go each time you place an order or you can add funds to your account.

How did all this begin?
We began by considering some possibilities. What if convenience is the friend of fresh rather than being coupled with fat and fast?
What if affordable is friends with value rather than compromised by cheap and uncheerful?
What about simple food alternatives that aren’t nutritionally compromised?
And what if we did all of that within a creative shopping environment with the hint of a cheeky smile?
It was right about then that Lunchbox was born! A fusion of convenient, affordable, simple food that’s fresh and tastes great.
