Before and After School Care

KidzBiz Sport & Recreation Care operates Outside of School Hours Care from Nedlands Primary School. The service provides: Before and After School Care; Care on Pupil Free Days and Vacation Care.

KidzBiz Sport & Recreation Care operates from Nedlands Primary School and also provides a delivery and collection service to other local schools. Children aged 4 to 12 from Nedlands Primary and surrounding primary schools are welcome.

WHAT WE OFFER

Before school care, after school care, care on pupil free days and vacation care, Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm. Care is run on the school grounds at 35 Kingsway, Nedlands, using the Altius Centre, hard courts, playgrounds and swimming pool.

BEFORE SCHOOL

Breakfast is provided for children who arrive before 7:30am, followed by quieter indoor activities such as yoga, board games, puzzles, reading and construction.

AFTER SCHOOL

Afternoon tea is served from 3:00 to 3:45pm, with a smaller snack at 5:00pm. The afternoon is a mix of indoor and outdoor sport and activities, weather permitting.

ACTIVITIES

The program has a strong focus on sport and encourages children to exercise every day. Activities include sports skills training, swimming, arts and crafts, cooking and drama, along with excursions and incursions.

MEALS

Meals are prepared by an onsite cook and are included in the fee: breakfast before school, afternoon tea after school, and a cooked lunch with morning and afternoon tea during vacation care, on rotating menus.

DROP-OFF AND COLLECTION

Nedlands Primary students are walked to their class area in the morning. Pre-Primary and Year 1 children are taken into their classroom and settled in by educators if they feel anxious. After school, Pre-Primary and Year 1 children are collected from their classroom, and Years 2 to 6 meet educators in front of the Altius Centre.

VACATION CARE

Vacation care runs all day from 6:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, during the school holidays. Places are often limited, so early enrolment is recommended. Excursions and incursions need a parental permission form, which is emailed to families.

SUBSIDY AND FEES

KidzBiz accepts the Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Please contact KidzBiz for current fee information.
